JURYING

We would like to specially thank this year’s juror, Bob Dilworth! Bob Dilworth is an artist and educator. FAM recently presented a solo exhibition of Dilworth’s work, Bob Dilworth: When I Remembered Home, and Dilworth’s work can be found in our collection. Central to Dilworth’s practice is the celebration of the places and people he loves. From painting to quilting, Dilworth consistently tries new techniques and incorporates new materials into his work.
Born and raised in Lawrenceville, Virginia, Dilworth first came to New England as a student at the Rhode Island School of Design. After earning his MFA at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Dilworth returned to Providence where he continues to live and work today. A lifelong educator, Dilworth taught at the University of Rhode Island for over thirty years and continues to be a cherished member of the Providence art community.
